Years after the the end of the Trojan War, The Greek hero, Odysseus still hasn't come home to Ithaka. Most people figure he's dead. But we don't because Homer lets us known that after the fall of Troy , Odysseus and his shipmates had numerous adventures. Odysseus is the left alone in an island of Ogygia for the last eight years captive f the beautiful goddess Calypso. Poseidon is ticked off at Odysseus because he blinded his son, the Cyclops Polyphemus, and will make his journey back home to Ithaca even more difficult.
